Buster Miller, 86, of Prentiss, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 5, 2020, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Prentiss Fire and Police Department on Hwy 184, with a private family graveside to follow. Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, face masks and social distancing will be required during the visitation. Friends are welcome to come to the visitation but the family understands if anyone is uncomfortable, all are welcome to leave a message on the funeral home website if unable to attend.

Mr. Miller was a member of Prentiss Baptist Church. He was a crane operator for 33 years at ODECO (now Diamond Drilling Company), before retiring in 1994. He was also a Volunteer Fire Fighter in Prentiss for over five decades. He enjoyed playing dominos, deer and turkey hunting, and working on his farm.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Jackson Miller; his parents, Frank and Annie Lou Davis Miller; and two brothers, Joe Thomas Miller and Bobby Miller.

He is survived by one son, Mike Miller (Lynn) of Prentiss; one daughter, Donna Miller Douglas of Prentiss; five grandchildren, Justin Douglas (Coty), Cameron Miller Martin (Justin), Tori Douglas Walters (Drew), Lakyn Miller, and Madison Miller; and six great grandchildren, Miller Grace Martin, Avery Douglas, John Lawson Martin, Cohen Douglas, Karlyn Walters, and Luke Rivers Martin.
