Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Union Cemetery in Piave for Mrs. Glenda Brewer Hopkins West, age 72, of Richton, who died on December 11, 2020.
Bro. Glen Edwards and Bro. David Tennyson will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Hilry Dyess, Scott Orman, Jeffrey Mooney, Dempsey Brewer, Douglas Manning, James Nicholson and as alternate, Darren Nicholson.
Mrs. West is survived by her husband of 20 years, Sylvester West, of Richton; daughter, Tiffany (Robert) Walthall of Gulfport; grand-daughter, Allie Stevens of Waynesboro; great-grandson, Emerson Carter Lofton; sisters, Brenda (Dwight) Edwards of Richton, Wanda (Hilry) Dyess of Richton; step-children, Scott Hopkins, Denise Overstreet, Nelson West; step grand-daughter, Maddison Everett and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Jefferson Hopkins, Jr. and parents, Tellie and Tressie Lee Brewer.
She faithfully attended the Clara Church of God. She was a graduate of Davis Cosmetology School and was a self- employed cosmetologist for over 54 years with Station St. Studio. Mrs. West was known for her love and unselfish service toward others.
