Vernon Hall, 82, of Sumrall, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. A graveside service will be held at the Melba Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.

Vernon was a member of the Military Baptist Church and in his spare time loved to go fishing. He had served his Country by enlisting in the U. S. Air Force and then retired from the U. S. Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon “Tony” and Louise Hall.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hall of Melba, MS; a son, Vernon Clay Hall of San Diego, CA; two daughters, Tammy (Wesley) Hodges of Oak Grove, Verena (Ricky) Graves of Melba; two sisters, Vera (Charles) Jornes of Oak Grove, Linda (Ray) Reyer of the Sunrise Community; seven grandchildren, Valerie (Chris) Dinger, Little Joe Hartfield, Rusty Graves, Dusty Graves, Kamron Graves, Able Hall, Bryce Hall; and four great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Vernon will be held at 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
