Elgin Jones, 80, of Purvis, passed away on July 27, 2020, at Lamar Health and Rehab.
Mr. Jones was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Hattiesburg Masonic Lodge. He was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed playing golf and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Dolly Jones; his first wife, Barbara Jean Jones; his second wife, Barbara Sue Jones; a son, Mike Jones; and his brother, Jimmy Jones.
He is survived by his son, John Jones of Purvis; his five grandchildren, Jailin Jones, John Jones, Jr, Ross Koop, Travis Koop, and Stephanie Johnson; and his three great grandchildren, Paython, Kinley, Judd.
