Paulette Fay Dalton Shamy, 74, went to her heavenly reward on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at 3:00 p.m., at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Shamy was a member of Vision Baptist Church. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and GRANDmother. She loved to play bingo.
She was born in 1945 in Columbia, TN to Albert Frank and Margarite Elizabeth King Dalton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Dalton, Jr. and Ricky Dalton.
She is survived by her husband Isaac “Ike” Shamy, who she married in December of 1965; and their four children, Tammy (John), Kelly, Jennifer (TJ) and Nicholle (Joe); fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry Dalton.
