A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2020, for Mrs. Theresa Williams Weaver, age 97, of Gulfport, at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Williams passed away on March 23, 2020, at the Azalea Garden Nursing Facility. Bro. Dennis Polk will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Dandy Welsh, George Sims, Joseph Robert III, Jonathan Johnson.
Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, Shelton Weaver; brothers, James O. Williams, Mondell Williams, Harbert Williams, Therrel Williams, Aaron Williams; sisters, Lenora Shoemake, Lavon Shows; grandson, Eugene Welsh; great-grandchildren, Anna Breland, Gary Joe Irwin.
She is survived by her son, Howard D. (Patricia) Weaver of Biloxi; daughters, Shirley W. (Joseph) Sims of Gulfport, Bobbie G. Hammond of Harrison, AR; brothers, J.M. Williams of Lumberton, Charlie (Vera) Williams of Mt. Olive, T.L. Williams of Mendenhall; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Weaver retired as an inspector with MidSouth Manufacturing after 20 years of service. She was a member of Hickory Grove Church of God.
