Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Sand Hill for Mrs. Lana Gail Wade, age 74, of Richton, who passed away to her heavenly home on June 15, 2019, at Forrest General Hospital.
Bro. Jimmy Holcomb and Bro. John White will officiate with burial to follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Denzel Walley, Ronnie Walley, Mike Walley, Murland Smith, Wilby Jordan and Mark Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Elwyn Smith and Brent Barfield.
Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Lee and Wilma Walley; sister, Phylis Smith; and niece, Rhonda Gamble. She is survived by her son, Browning (Alison) Baxter of Sand Hill; grandchildren, Jacob McCraw, Landon Breland, Kynslee Baxter and Collan Baxter; brother-in-law, Billy Smith; nephew, Print Myrick.
Mrs. Wade was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sand Hill. She worked many years as an office manager for Century Management and worked in her family’s wood yard business too. She was the owner of a florist in Richton for several years.
Visitation will be Monday, June 17, 2019, 6:00 p.m. until service time at First Baptist Church in Sand Hill.
