Jo Ann Simmons, 81, of Wiggins, died March 16, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Bessie McLendon and two brothers, Donnie McLendon and John McLendon.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William Earl Simmons Jr. of Wiggins; two sons, Danny Simmons and Avery Simmons both of Wiggins; two daughters, Kimberly Quave (Alfred) of Carnes and Stephanie Simmons of Wiggins; four grandchildren, Jeremy Simmons, Tonya Simmons, Devin Simmons, and Hailey Quave; one great-grandchildren, Madalyn Reid and six siblings, Martha Nell Davis of Picayune, Jimmy Dale McLendon of Picayune, Jerry McLendon of Florida, Mark McLendon of Gulfport, Louis McLendon of Gulfport and Mac McLendon of PA.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Moore Funeral Services in Wiggins with an hour visitation before the service. Moore Funeral Service in Wiggins is in charge of the arrangements.
