Sibyl I. Hill, 92, of Ellisville, Mississippi, died Thursday November 26, 2020, at Jones County Nursing Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, September 4, 1928, in Jones County, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 29, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Ellisville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Big Creek Cemetery. Bro. Kenny Morris will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Arcola Hathorn; husband, Ben Gowen Hill; brothers, Lavell Hathorn, Delton Hathorn, Thurmon Hathorn, and H.H "Bud" Hathorn; sisters, Hazel McMullen, and Vernice Cheeks.
Survivors include her sons, James Hunnell (Faye), and David Hunnell (Glenda); grandchildren, Kevin Hunnell (Angela), and Kim Morris (Scott); great-grandchildren, Regan Walters (Brandon), Rylee Morris, Jeremy Hunnell (DeAnna), Cody Hunnell (Marlee); great-great grandchildren, Brody Hunnell, Madison Hunnell, and Bentlee Hunnell; brother, Charles Hathorn (Janett).
Pallbearers will be Joey McRee, Joe Sellers, Bob McBride, Cuttis Shaffer, Ray Freeman, and Jeffrey Hathorn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Hathorn.
