John W. Smith, 82, of Theodore, AL passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 11, 2020.
Mr. Smith was an Elder of the Southwest Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness in Mobile, AL. He worked for Pine Belt Oil for 40 years and retired in 2012.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Earline Brigman Smith; his parents, Otha and Martha Smith; and his brother, Bobby Smith.
He is survived by his four daughters, Gina M. (Joey) Cardwell of Theodore, AL, Miechelle (Darrell) Massey of Florence, MS, Lisa K. (Tim) Pittman of Columbia, MS, and Lynn (David) Jenkins of Bay St. Louis, MS; his grandchildren, Rachel (Steve) Gonzalez, Renee (Kevin) Pruitt, Javid (Anna) Jenkins, Allen (Olivia) Pittman, and Austin Pittman; his great-grandchildren, Cameron Gonzalez, and Reese Pruitt; his sisters, Estelle Beavers, and Ida Belle Loveless; and numerous nieces and nephews.
