Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2020, at Fairhope Missionary Baptist Church for Mr. Marvin Thomas, age 85, of Beaumont, who died on July 07, 2020, at his residence.
Bro. Jerry Overstreet and Bro. Wendell Helton will officiate the service and serving as pallbearers will be Troy Thomas, Scottie Thomas, Lavelle Parker, Daniel Thomas, Stanley Freeman, and Greg Thomas; serving as alternates will be Randy Byrd, William Parker, and Ramone Bryars. Burial to follow in Fairhope Church Cemetery.
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Letha Thomas; a son, Matthew Thomas; and parents, Clarance and Ruth Thomas.
He is survived by his daughter, Becky (Richie) Price of Oak Grove; two sons, Greg (Debarah) Thomas of Beaumont and Daniel (Debra) Thomas of Flowood; nine grandchildren, Matt Thomas, Gretchen Bryars, Maressa Thomas, Marlena Smith, Amy Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Ashton Price, Madeline Price and Cole Price; six great-grandchildren, Stoney Dearman, Kye Seymour, Laken Thomas, Keenan Thomas, Isabella Bryars and Missy Smith.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Richton.
