James T. Newell “Jimmy” a longtime resident of Richton, MS passed away August 30, 2020, at age 59. He is survived by his parents, Huey and Kay Newell, his twin brother Johnny Newell, and brothers Tim Wise (Teresa) and Don Wise (Ann).
Jimmy was a carpenter by trade and was often seen around town helping others with projects. He was well loved by those who knew him. Bro. Dwight Smith and Bro. Joshua Dunn will officiate the services. Pallbearers are Malcolm Edwards, Dewayne Smith, Junior Newell, Kent Harris, Mike Ely and Dink Newell.
A graveside service will be held at The Newell Cemetery on David Newell Road on September 2, 2020, at 11:00 am. Friends and family are welcomed to pay their respects while observing COVID 19 restrictions.
Jimmy will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him.
