Doris JoAnn Rouse Coleman, 70, of Petal, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Calvary Baptist Church in Petal with interment at Highland Cemetery to follow.
Mrs. Doris was of the Baptist Faith. She loved playing Bingo, crocheting, and doing crosswords. She was and excellent cook and always made sure everyone had enough to eat. Above all things, she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rouse, Sr.; and her two daughters, Melissa Dawn Rouse, and Sharon Marie Rouse.
She is survived by her daughters, Terry Marlien Rouse of Hattiesburg, and Charlene Elizabeth Creel of Hattiesburg; her son, Charles Berry Rouse, Jr. (Lacressia) of Petal; her sister, Rebecca Cameron (Charlie) of Bentonville, AR; her niece, Tammy Hamilton of Golden Meadow, LA; her nephew, Travis Orso of Golden Meadow, LA; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Mrs. Doris will be held at 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Calvary Baptist Church in Petal.
