A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020, for Mr. Jerolyn Ray Freeman, age 64, of Richton, at Freeman Cemetery. Mr. Freeman passed away on December 14, 2020, at his residence. Bro. Josh Freeman will officiate the service with burial to follow. Pallbearers will be Monte Freeman, Tommy Norsworthy, Skyler Norsworthy, Jackson Mills, Marcus Freeman, Jimmie Freeman and Gage Freeman as Alternate.
Mr. Freeman worked for Reliable Welding in Laurel, MS for twenty years. He was a faithful member of Zion Rest Missionary Baptist Church; and he adored his family and especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ernie Freeman; and brother, Stafford Freeman.
He is survived by his wife, Joannie Freeman; sons, Nick (Haley) Freeman of Sumrall, Shaun (Crystal) Freeman of Richton; brother, Sammy Freeman of Richton; sister, June McDonald of Richton; grandchildren, Trace Freeman, Callon Freeman, Laena Freeman, Hayden Dearman, Braxton Dearman and Chazton Freeman; and a host of brothers, sisters-in-law, family and friends.
