Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020, for Mrs. Helen Rae Walley, age 79, of Richton, at Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Walley passed away on June 24, 2020, at the Leakesville Rehab and Nursing Center. Bro. Rayford Walley and Bro. Curt Sullivan will officiate the services with burial to follow in the Union Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Grantham, Joshua Grantham, Josh Dickinson, Justin Walley, Jared Walley, Skyler Norsworthy and Blake Norsworthy.
Mrs. Walley was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Walley; parents, Erastus and Adys McLain; brothers, Stuart and L.N. McLain.
She is survived by her daughters, Vanessa (David) Grantham of SandHill, Regina (Tommy) Norsworthy of Richton; sons, Jerry (Angelia) Walley of Buckatunna, J.D. Walley of Richton; brothers, Sam McLain, Harold "Shorty" McLain; sister, Marie Walley; grandchildren, Michael Grantham, Sarah Dickinson, Joshua Grantham, Justin Walley, Jared Walley, Skyler Norsworthy, Blake Norsworthy; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Walley enjoyed cooking and taking care of everyone.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 9:30 a.m. until service time at Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church.
