Annie Dean Rose, Age 83, took her journey to be with her lord and savior, Jesus Christ, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. She was born in Richton, Mississippi on June 18, 1936, to the late Forrest and Sadie Stevens. She was loyal, faithful Christian, member of Three Rivers Church of God, Sunday School Teacher. She had a sweet and loving spirit, and always had a smile on her face.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Rose; her brothers, Herman Stevens and Willie Stevens; her sisters, Vera McClain, Macey Creel and Myrtle Dykes and a daughter-in-law, Evon Rose.
She is survived by her three children, Joann Ware (James) of Biloxi, MS; Angela Fillingane of Petal, MS and son, Thomas Rose of Wiggins, MS; seven grandchildren, Bobby, Marty, Jennifer, Stephen, Shannon, Courtney, and Candi; ten great-grandchildren, Dalton, Justin, Victoria, Dustin, Katie, Dylan, Kelsie, Austin, Caitlyn, and Gracie; six great great-grandchildren, Grayson, Ryleigh, Aiden, Carson, Aurora and Lorella; sister, Oveda McClain of Richton, Mississippi; A special thank you to Courtney Ware Peeler for all the trips and visits and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Three Rivers Cemetery in Gulfport.
