Marie Russum, 93, of Hattiesburg, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 20, 2020. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at 3:30 p.m. at Highland Cemetery.
Mrs. Russum was a charter member of Grandview United Methodist Church, where she served as Treasurer for many years. She lived in Starkville and retired to Hattiesburg in 1987. She was adored by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Russum; her parents, Joseph W. and Sarah H. Worrall; two brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by four daughters, Patricia Garvin of Hattiesburg, Maria Trattler of Atlanta, GA, Gayle Kraker (Mike) of Starkville, and Barbie Clayton (Mims) of Memphis, TN; one son Butch Russum (Anne) of Hattiesburg; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews.
