Travis Harold Reeves, of Laurel, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020, after a longtime illness.
He is survived by his mother, Ellen Latrice Reeves and his daughter, Lindsey Reeves Butler.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Clifton Reeves.
Travis was the owner of Reeves Sanitary Service for many years, and later in life became a Sheriff's Deputy. He was a former member of the Governor's escort and the Deputy Motorcycle Unit. He also was a former member of the SWAT team. He was a Mason and a member of the Hamasa Shrine Club for many years, as well as a member of the Chapter L GWRRA Motorcycle Club.
Pall bearers will be as follows: Scott Sims, Jason Buxton, Ken Williams, Mike Nicholson Sr., Michael Nicholson Jr., and Rex Nicholson. Honorary pall bearers will be Larry Matthews and Jerry Hutchinson, as well as every friend Travis made along life's journey.
Services will be held at the Calhoun Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2020.
