James D. Pierce, Jr, 57, of Vicksburg passed away on August 20, 2020, at Merit Health River Region Hospital in Vicksburg. Visitation will be Monday, August 24, 2020, at Moore Funeral Home in Petal from 11:30 a.m. until service time at 1:30 p.m. followed by burial in G. R. Bond Cemetery.
Mr. Pierce was a big fan of N.A.S.C.A.R. and sports in general.
He was survived by his parents, James D. Pierce Sr. of Petal and his mother, Barbara Pierce of Vicksburg; his sister, Kathy St. Mary (Jeffery) of Hattiesburg; his brother, David Pierce (Kristie) of Vicksburg; his three nieces, Kirsten, Ellen, and Olivia; his nephew, Brendan; two aunts, Mary Wohler of Biloxi and Anna Howell of West Melbourne, FL; two uncles Wallace Lewis of Sedalia, MO. And James Lewis of MO; and numerous cousins.
