Barbara H. Nix, 76 of Purvis, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020. Visitation will be Monday, September 14, 2020, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. with services immediately following at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Mrs. Nix was a member of Central Baptist Church. She worked at Allen’s Trophies for 11 years before retiring in 2000 and was currently the bookkeeper for Auto Armature service.
She was preceded in death by one son, David Dewayne Page; her mother, Willie Mae Cole; and her fiancé, Robert “Bob” Popwell.
She is survived by one son, Huey Paul Page, Jr. (Wanda); two daughters, Cynthia L. Jones and Louise Aue (Kevin); seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Cole.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
