Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2020, at Edwards Cemetery for Mr. Marvin Edwards, age 75, of Richton, who died on December 11, 2020. Bro. Anthony O’Neal will officiate the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Holliman, Mike Nowell, Michael Edwards, Aaron Hinton, Chantse Edwards and Kane Edwards.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ethel Mae Edwards, of Richton; son, Marvin (Wendy) Edwards, Jr., daughter, Beverly (Porter) Dunnam of Richton; sister, Betty Ivy; grandchildren, Chantse Edwards, Anna (Aaron) Hinton, Kane (Shana) Edwards, Morgan (Jeremy) Mills, Lacey James; and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Murdoc and Eula Edwards; brothers, Robert Edwards, Donny Edwards and Dewayne Edwards.
Mr. Edwards worked in the oil field for over 30 years. He was a member and deacon of Good Hope Baptist Church of Richton.
