Services will be held Friday, September 27, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at Jones and Son Chapel for Mrs. Lola Mae “Susie” Tisdale, age 79, of Richton, who passed away at her residence on September 24, 2019. Bro. Sam Mills and Bro. Troy Fagan will officiate with burial to follow in Frisco Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bryant, Edgar Bryant, Reno Mayo, Shafer Dement, Derrick Brondum and Chase Barnes.
Mrs. Tisdale was preceded in death by her husband, Columbus “Huel” Tisdale; parents, Jeff Davis and Ora Lee Brownlee; sisters, Mildred Taylor, Estell Kittrell; brothers, James Brownlee, Paul Brownlee, Arthur “Blondie” Brownlee.
She is survived by her sisters, Reba Lois Mayo, Sally Mills, Barbara Newell and Annie Lee White, all of Richton; brothers, Alton Brownlee of Richton, Arvel Brownlee of Vossburg and Carl Wayne Brownlee of Richton; host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Tisdale was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church. She retired from Mid South garment factory in Richton after 32 years of service as a seamstress.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2019, 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Jones and Son Funeral Home.
