Lela Flynn, 86, of Petal, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Bedford Care Monroe Hall in Hattiesburg. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Petal Harvey Baptist Church with interment in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.
Lela was a member of Petal Harvey Baptist Church She was an avid gardener, loved to crochet and do arts and crafts.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Flynn; a son, Mike Flynn; two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by two sons, Steve (Judy) Flynn of Petal, William “Butch” Flynn of Gulfport; a brother, Johnny Johnson of Shady Grove; three grandchildren, Ryan Flynn of Petal, Maggie Flynn of Hattiesburg, Amanda Flynn of Petal; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Lela will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Petal Harvey Baptist Church.
