Edith Pierce, 78, of Petal, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at her home.
Mrs. Pierce was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie D. Pierce; her parents, Ernst and Auguste Schaefer; and one sister, Karin Smith.
She is survived by her five sons, Werner (Martha) Pierce, John (Linda) Pierce, Dean (Melissa) Pierce, Stanley (Danell) Pierce, and Bryan (Missy) Pierce; 14 grandchildren, Michael (Amber) Pierce, Chas (Casey) Pierce, Andy (Lauren) Pierce, Samantha Pierce, Meredith (Marshall) Thornhill, Bradly Pierce, Matt Pierce, Jake Pierce, Faith Pierce, Haylee (Asa) Morgan, Hunter Pierce, Kaylen Pierce, Mallory Pierce and Gavin Pierce; and seven great grandchildren, Michael Jr., Logan, Dylan, Mason, Mackenzie, Keller and Collins.

Due to the current state and local mandates regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a memorial service held at a later date.
