William Conrad Kinkopf, 85, of Petal, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, December, 21, 2020, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment in Hillcrest Cemetery to follow.
William was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He had served his Country by enlisting in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War and was a member of the Petal VFW. William retired from Mississippi Tank Company as an Estimator after many years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife, Germaine “Miss Gerry” Kinkopf and his parents, William and Edna Kinkopf.
He is survived by three sons, William (Sherry) Kinkopf of Hattiesburg, Brian (Carla) Kinkopf of Houston, TX, Michael (Angela) Kinkopf of Petal; seven grandchildren, Tony Sanville, Teresa Kinkopf, Paige (Brad) Stephens, Daniel Kinkopf, Jayden Kinkopf, Kaleb Kinkopf, and Ansley Kinkopf.
Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2020, at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
