Annett Walters Stringfellow, 82, of Ovett, passed away at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Walters Cemetery, with a viewing from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the cemetery.
Mrs. Stringfellow was of the Baptist Faith. She loved to work. She retired from General Electric where she was the credit manager. She also retired from Sam’s Club. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Stringfellow; her daughter, Vanessa Selene Stringfellow; her parents, Vandy and Brittie Walters; her brothers, Owen, Clarence, Roy, and Grady; and her sisters, Pauline, Lorene, Inez, Marie, Claudia, and Dorothy.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Sharon) Stringfellow of Ovett; her daughter, Deanna (Billy) Tate of Purvis; her grandchildren, Ken Stringfellow, Josh Stringfellow, Matthew Stringfellow, Eric McGowen, Jacob Russell, Madison Tate, McKenley Tate, Courtlyn Myers, and Christina Peoples; her great-grandchildren, Landry Stringfellow, Mollie Stringfellow, River Stringfellow, Jonah Wall, Annsley McGowen, Reese Cooley, and Kami Jones; and her sister, Emla Rae Underwood.
