Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, for Bro. Herbert Houston Legg Jr., age 73, of Richton, at Richton First United Pentecostal Church. Bro. Legg passed away on September 26, 2020 at the Perry County Nursing Center. Bro. Shane Giadrosich, Bro. Colby Meadows and Bro. Dathan Eddins will officiate the service with burial in the Burgetown Cemetery in Carrier, MS.
Pallbearers will be Adam Giadrosich, Dathan Eddins, Colby Meadows, Shane Giadrosich, Justin Malone, Rob Cancel and Tom Sheeks as Alternate.
Rev. Legg was an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International. He pastored in Georgia and Louisiana for over 25 years.
Rev. Legg was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert H. "Pat" and Dorothy Legg; sisters, Nelda Jean Barger and Cynthia Telarico. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Glenda Kennedy Legg of Richton; daughter, JoAnn (Shane) Giadrosich of Richton; grandchildren, Tara (Colby) Meadows of Poplarville, Adam (Ashley) Giadrosich of Richton, Erica (Dathan) Eddins of Richton; great-grandchildren, Malley Meadow, Cresley Meadows, Aubrey Giadrosich, Avery Giadrosich, Adley Giadrosich; sister, Patricia Ann Brier of Petal; host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, September 28, 2020, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Richton First United Pentecostal Church in Richton.
