Nettie R. Ainsworth, born July 23, 1936, died April 23, 2019, at the age of 82.
Mrs. Ainsworth was a retired licensed practical nurse. She enjoyed working with her flowers, fishing, reading, and being with her friends and staff at Jasper County Nursing Home. She took great pride in her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, Vernon and Alice Wood; sister, Tressie J. Foster; brother, Hermon D. Wood; and cherished friend, Stan Algood.
She is survived by daughter, Dianne White (Rodney) of Louin; son, Dale “D.J.” Johnson (Sara) of Laurel; sister, Linda Pagano of Gulfport; brothers, Halmon Wood of Laurel, Sam Wood of Laurel, and Hughie Wood of Bay Springs; and grandchildren, John R. White (Alison), Keri White Smith (Shawn), Kenny Johnson, Dale Johnson, Jr., Sadie Johnson, and Katie Alexander (Aaron).
Graveside services will be held at Antioch Cemetery in Jasper County on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 11:30 a.m.
