Eleanor Dianne Gardner, 71, of Louin, Mississippi, died Sunday, August 9, 2020, in Louin, Mississippi. She was born Monday, June 27, 1949, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Montrose Baptist Church in Louin, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Montrose Baptist Church and the Burial will follow in Montrose Cemetery. Bro. Stanley Doggett will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements.
When Dianne thought about life, she thought about how much she loved her family, grandkids and sewing. She was an avid crafter and painter. She was a long time member of Montrose Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and VBS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Heyward Putnam and Mary Louise Deakle, daughter, Donna Marie Shelton, granddaughter, Meagan Ann Gardner.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Clyde Gardner, daughters, Elaine Shelton (Phil), Alicia Easterling (Robbie), Michelle Lunsford (Buddy), Katie Gardner, sons, Clyde Gardner Jr. (Shelly), Phillip Gardner (Sharon), grandchildren, David Shelton (Callie), Jesse Shelton (Crystal), Kristi Gentry, Rebecca Shelton, Robert Clyde Gardner, Blake Easterling (Victoria), Barry Easterling, Brett Easterling, Lechelle Worley, Haley Young, Sabrina Lunsford, Colton Gardner, Farrell Gardner, Kyle Gardner, Brittany Gardner, Ellie Gardner, and Tali Myrick, as well as 15 great grandchildren, sister, Darlene Singleton (Rodger), and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
