Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2019, for Mr. Columbus Hugh “Huel” Tisdale, age 83, of Richton, at Jones and Son Chapel. Mr. Tisdale passed away on July 9, 2019 at his residence. Bro. Troy Fagan and Bro. Sam Mills will officiate with burial to follow in Frisco Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Brondum, Dalton Brownlee, Michael Bryant, Chase Barnes, Jamie Dillon and Shafer Dement. Ricky Brownlee and Reno Mayo will serve as alternates.
Mr. Tisdale was preceded in death by his dad, Claudie Tisdale; mother, Ethel Hinton; brothers, Larry Tisdale, Marshall Tisdale, Donnis Ray Tisdale; sister, Maurice Tyree; nephews, Bruce Lott, Allan Tyree.
He is survived by his wife, Lola Mae “Susie” Tisdale of Richton; sister, Clarice Lott of Beaumont; brother, Billy Ray Tisdale of Richton; host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mr. Tisdale was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church. He worked as a dryer operator at Hood Industries for 16 years.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 14, 2019 5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Jones and Son Funeral Home.
