Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2019, at West Black Creek Baptist Church for Mrs. Erma Nell Herrington, age 84, of Hattiesburg who passed from this life on May 18, 2019 at Asbury Hospice House. Bro. Brent King and Bro. Joe Lott will officiate with burial to follow in West Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Will Martin, Paul Farlow, Ben Guthrie, Travis Bond, Caleb Farlow, Ned Nelson, Riley Bond and Bing Waldron. Honorary pallbearers will be Eli Farlow, Brennan Guthrie and Blaze Guthrie.
Mrs. Herrington was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Herrington; granddaughter, Beth Farlow; parents, Lawrence and Letha Clark; sisters, Willie Mae Lott and Merle; brothers, Hilmon Clark and L.A. Clark. She is survived by her children, Nancy (Phil) Martin of Liberty Lake, WA, Becky (Bobby) Guthrie of Moselle, Patricia (Mark) Nelson of Hattiesburg, Eddie (Debbie) Herrington of Flowood; siblings, Gay Hanberry, Dimple Clark, Edith Boone; grandchildren, Will (Angela) Martin, Babs (Travis) Bond, Ben (Brittany) Guthrie, Ned (Sami) Nelson, Grace (Bing) Waldron; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Caleb, Eli, Riley, Madison, Charlee and Jackie.
Mrs. Herrington was a member at West Black Creek Baptist Church for 55 years. She was known far and wide for her cooking.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 19, 2019, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at West Creek Baptist Church.
