Services will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. for Mr. James Wesley Ezell, age 85, of Richton, at Union Grove Assembly of God. Mr. Ezell passed away on August 22, 2020, at his residence. Rev. Reggie Manning, Bro. Manuel Henderson and Bro. Chris Adcock will officiate the service with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Ezell was a supervisor of the sawmill in Piave for 15 years. He worked for Hilyard Drilling for many years also; loved farming and milking his cow. He attended Union Grove Assembly of God.
Mr. Ezell was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ezell; daughters, Audrey Mayo, Angela Hession and Anita Walley; parents, Lewis and Lora Jane Ezell; two brothers; four sisters.
He is survived by his daughters, Annette Ezell, Emily Arlene (Reggie) Manning, both of Piave; grandchildren, Chance (Hannah) Walley, Bobo (Mary Kathryn) Hession, Channing (Jamie) Walley, Chandra (Michael) Byrd, Lannie (Cory) Smith, Zach (Jordyn) Manning, Kera (Dre) Davis, KoKo (Hannah) Manning; great-grandchildren, Addi, Elli, Rush, Rhett, Eden, Eli, Zadyn, Hazel, Bentley; brother, Ira "Little Buddy" Ezell of Stapleton AL; sister, Pauline Cochran of Eight Mile, AL.
Visitation will be Monday, August 24, 2020, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Union Grove Assembly of God.
