Services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at Jones and Son Chapel for Mrs. Doris Elizabeth Byrd, age 80, of Neely, MS, who passed away at her residence on October 29, 2019. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Greene County.
Mrs. Byrd was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Byrd Sr.; son, Randy Byrd; and great-granddaughter, Dakota Freeman.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Vickie) Byrd of Neely; daughter, Paige Mills of Piave; sons, Norris Byrd Jr., Jody Byrd, both of Neely; sisters, Barbara Byrd of Selma, AL, Carolyn Buchanan of Ocean Springs, Linda Gibson of Selma, AL; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 1, 2019, 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Jones and Son Funeral Home.
