Please join us in remembering our beloved Jon Edwards Anderson, age 48. He left this earthly realm on February 19, 2020. He was a remarkable and talented man with many friends and family members who loved him and will miss him greatly.
Jon Edwards was a member of the Richton United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Richton High School and attended JCJC. He was a carpenter by trade and loved spending his time with family and friends.
Jon could build anything and enjoyed inventing new gadgets and collecting survival equipment. He biked, canoed, paddle boarded, motorbiked, fished, hunted, and was very active. He enjoyed the outdoors and nature. Jon was one of a kind and lived each day to the fullest. He shared the profession of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his father, John W. Anderson; grandparents, Allen A. and Velma Phillips Edwards; grandparents, W.W. and Viola Anderson.
He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Edwards Anderson of Richton; sister, Daisy Anderson (Steven) Tuminello of Vicksburg; niece, Sophie Tuminello of Vicksburg; beloved fiancé, Toni Anne Weaver of Hattiesburg; aunts, Gretchen Edwards (Hines) Heathcock of Jackson, AL, Beth (Gene) Hodges of Moselle, Nancy Edwards of Pass Christian; uncle, Jack (Lynn) Anderson of Richton; many other family members; host of friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Richton United Methodist Church with Bro. Brandon Halford officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 29, 2020, 1:00 p.m. until service time.
