Shae Anthony Lyda, 43, of Petal, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020, at his home. A gathering of friends will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at Moore Funeral Home in Petal.
Mr. Lyda was a licensed practicing massage therapist and also worked at Manheim Auto Auctions. Music was his passion and he loved playing bass guitar. He was a life-long Petal resident.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Ann Speed.
He is survived by his father, Ron Lyda; two sisters, Allison Speed and Allyssa Speed; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous friends including, but not limited to, Shelton and Chivonne Austin, Shenet Myer, Sam and Mandy Chapin, Cedric Lee, Samantha Jefferson, John McBay, Chris Story, and Chris Eversoll; numerous nieces and nephews, including one nephew, Cameron; and his beloved dog, Bella (aka “Maggie”).
