Antonia Staricco, Age 74, of Hattiesburg, MS, passed away on Friday, May 08, 2020, at Merit Health Wesley Hospital. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 3:00 p.m. until 5 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2020, at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
Antonia was the daughter of Ted and Hazel Payton. Antonia provided customer services here in Hattiesburg, MS at our very own Quality Inn for many years. She always gave of herself and time to serve this community proudly. Ted Payton served and retired from the Coast Guard as well as retired from Nabisco. Hazel Payton was a home health care provider most of her life and a native of Hattiesburg, MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Hazel Payton; a brother, James McCardle; a sister, Diane Payton; and her step-mother, Lee Payton
Antonia leaves her husband of 35 years, Stanley “Guy” Staricco, Jr. of Hattiesburg; her two daughters, Barbara (Jim Adkins) Aydt of Brookings, OR, Brandi (William) Wakefield of Folsom, CA; two sons, Ted (Janet) Sheppard of White City, OR, Michael (Kylie) Sheppard of Gilroy, CA; and her brother’s dear wife Kathy Addison of Saucier, MS; niece, Katie McCardle of Gulfport.
