Ashley Reid Ling, 39, of Carnes Community, died February 27, 2020, at Stone County Hospital in Wiggins after a brief illness. Ashley was a graduated of Forrest County Agricultural High School, member of the Carnes Volunteer Fire Department where she held many offices, she also worked at Dan’s Diner in Hattiesburg as a waitress.
She was preceded in death by her father, O.W. Reid and a niece, Lacey Warden.
She is survived by her husband, Joebe Ling of Carnes Community; her children, Thomas Ryan Ling, Brody Worner Reid, Bryan Dallas Ling, and Charles Logan Rouse all of Carnes Community; her mother, Shirley Reid of Carnes Community; her sisters, Connie Neary of Purvis, Linda Arnold of Poplarville, Debbie Lee of Carnes Community and Monica Reid of Carnes Community and her brother, Chance Reid of Carnes and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., February 28, 2020, at First Baptist Church of Carnes. Services will be Saturday, February 29, 2020, First Baptist Church of Carnes with burial to follow in Bounds Cemetery. Moore Funeral Service in Wiggins is in charge of the arrangements.
