Services will be held at a later date for Mr. Denton Ball, age 77, of Richton who passed from this life on May 8, 2020, at Asbury Hospice House.
Mr. Ball was a member of the Richton United Methodist Church. He retired as a railroad engineer after 37 years with Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was married to the love of his life for 56 years.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Scott Ball; brother, Don Ball and parents, Denton Granderry and Sarah Ball.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Ball, of Richton; daughter, Stacey (Joey) Turner of Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Caleb Adams, Molly, Dalton, and Jordan Turner and a host of nieces and nephews.
