Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2020, at the First Baptist Church in Ovett, for Mrs. Patsy Ann Palmer, who died on December 2, 2020.
Bro. Steve Kelly will officiate the service with burial to follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Graham, Terry Graham, Mike Graham, Daniel “Mug” Graham, Grady Scarbrough and Doug Powell.
Mrs. Palmer is survived by her son, Rickey (Bonnie) Graham of Ovett; daughter, Kathy Shelby of Laurel; grandson, Tylee Shelby of Laurel and 2 nieces, Joann Nunes and Kay Clinton.
Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her husband, John Palmer and her first husband, Henry Allen Graham; parents, Gloster and Lila Mae Campbell; son-in-law, David Shelby, niece, Karen Campbell; and 2 brothers, Billy Ray Campbell and Jerry Campbell.
Mrs. Patsy loved her community and people. She was a foster grandparent at Kid’s Kingdom and loved her church family very much. She also served as Women’s Sunday School Teacher.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2020, at the First Baptist Church in Ovett. Jones & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
