Jessie D. McClain, 84, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Friday November 13, 2020, at Care Center of Laurel in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Friday, March 20, 1936, in Louin, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 15, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home with Burial to follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Wayne County.
Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his father, John McClain; mother, Hattie McClain; wife, Evelyn McClain; brothers, Arnold McClain, and Houston McClain; sister, Beatrice Hicks.
Survivors include his son, Danny McClain; daughters, Shelia McDevitt, and Denise Kytle (Bill); 8-grandchildren; 8-great grandchildren; sisters, Louise Boyd, Thelma Lewis, and Faye Phillips.
Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
