A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2020, for Mrs. Mary Louise Rowell, age 79, of Richton, at Welcome Home Cemetery. Mrs. Rowell passed away to her heavenly home on June 11, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital. Bro. Charles Mayo will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be Brock Freeman, Gage Freeman, Monte Freeman, Derick Mills, Kenny Mills, and Christian Perry.
Mrs. Rowell was preceded in death by her husband, James Rowell; parents, Archie and Lois Mills; brother, Reuben "Rupo" Mills; and granddaughter, Millicent Pierce.
She is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Johnny) Pierce of Richton, Diane (Benji) Elmore Edwards of Richton; granddaughter, Danielle (Monte) Freeman of Richton; grandson, Justin Elmore of Richton; great-grandchildren, Gage, Brock, Lynli and Lila Freeman; sister, Joyce Voncille (Joe) Mills Medina of Pearl; brother, Cecil Mills of Ovett.
Mrs. Louise loved canning vegetables and enjoyed her flower beds. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, June 15, 2020, 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton.
