Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Victory Heights Pentecostal Church for Mrs. Edna Mae Rowell Taylor, age 91, of Ovett. Mrs. Taylor passed away to her heavenly home on November 9, 2019, at her residence. Bro. Colon Rowell and Bro. Zach Rowell will officiate with burial to follow in the Taylor Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ivy Taylor; brothers, Reese Rowell and Lester Rowell; parents, Johnson and Aundie Rowell.
She is survived by her son, Johnny J. (Eva) Taylor of Ovett; daughters, Sarah (Freddie) Thompson of Richton, Ann Grantham of Ovett; brother, Kenneth (Annette) Rowell of Ovett; sisters, Helen (Chester) Massengill of Ovett, Gracie (Charles) Bosarge of Ovett; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of Victory Heights Pentecostal Church in Ovett.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 13, 2019, 5:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at Victory Heights Pentecostal Church in Ovett.
