Irma Lee Buckley, 82, of Soso, Mississippi, passed away peacefully Monday, June 22, 2020, with children and grandchildren at her side. She was born Tuesday, July 27, 1937, in Stringer, Mississippi.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Edon Cemetery. Bro. Allen McCord will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements.

The family encourages all attendees of service to utilize social distancing measures and if possible wearing masks, to benefit the health and safety of everyone.

She was a Christian example of a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and set an example for everyone she met.

She will be remembered, and cherished for her timeless beauty, attentiveness, encouragement, and nurturing manner towards everyone she encountered.

She had an uncompromising dedication, and determination to do the right thing even if it meant putting herself last to be a servant to others.

Even as her body became frail in her latter days, her faith, and love stayed unbelievable firm.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Eugene Buckley Sr., parents, Arnold and Janice Bunkley, brother, James Arnold Bunkley.

Survivors include her children, Cathy Mosley (Carey), Edward Buckley, Denise van Coppenhagen (Carl), James Arnold Buckley, grandchildren, Joshua Cumberland, Clarke Joiner, Leah Buckley, Jameson Buckley, Bo Buckley, Eliza Buckley, Jarrett Buckley, Abbey Crosby, great-grandchildren, Conner Cumberland, Ford Joiner, Swayze Joiner, Camp Joiner, Scottlyn James Buckley, Mavis Crosby, Norah Crosby, Elliot Crosby, brothers, Grady Bunkley and Nick Bunkley.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Cumberland, Clarke Joiner, Leah Buckley, Jameson Buckley, Bo Buckley, Eliza Buckley, and Jarrett Buckley.
