Jennie Vee Extine, 92, of Hattiesburg, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital.
Mrs. Extine was of the Baptist faith. She was a Registered Nurse at Forrest General Hospital for 42 years before retiring in 1991. She enjoyed reading and loved her pets.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Extine, Sr.; her parents, Samuel and Francis Hodges; and one great granddaughter, Lily Reynolds.
She is survived by four daughters, Melanie Extine of Hattiesburg, Belinda (Kent) Graham of Hattiesburg, Jennie (Mike) Reynolds of Carrier, and Aimee (Kevin) Breland of Hattiesburg; one son, Billy (Kippi) Extine of Purvis; one sister, Bertie New of Hattiesburg; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, the family will hold a private graveside service in Glendale Baptist Church Cemetery.
