Terrell Lee Simmons, 87, of Louin, Mississippi, died Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at his home. He was born Friday, February 10, 1933, in Jasper County.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Louin Cemetery. Bro. Keith Ulmer will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements.

Terrell, affectionately known as “Unc”, was very family oriented and loved everyone intensely. He was a provider and a protector to those he loved. Unc was very work oriented, teaching his nephews the value of hard work. His companions for the last four years, Spot and Mollie, were loved by him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Addie Simmons; siblings, Franklin Simmons, Maxine Walters, Billy Simmons, Elsie Boyles, and Orene Williams; great nephews, Shannon Conerly and Robbie Conerly; a niece and her husband, Beverly & Mike Mailey.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Lorraine Conerly, Debbie Bufkin, Pam Wilson, Stephanie Stephens (Dale), Tommy Simmons (Vicki), Cynthia Shows (Tommy), Linda Temple, Brenda Phillips, Barry Simmons (Colleen), Janice Clay (Scott), Tim Simmons (Fran), Jimmy Walters (Tommie); great nieces and nephews, Adam Conerly (Stephanie), Jonathan Conerly (Manda), Trevor Phillips, Dexter Phillips, and TT’s special loves, Eric, Melissa, Kari, Bella, and Presley.

Pallbearers will be Trevor Phillips, Adam Conerly, Eric Jones, Jonathan Conerly, and Mike Conerly.
