Bettye Anne Foster Lazenby, 90, of Petal, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020, at her home. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal with services immediately following at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Lazenby was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was an Operator for AT&T, which is where she met her husband and before becoming a homemaker. She was also a former member of the Petal Optimist Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, McCoy L. Lazenby; her parents, Elijah and Clara Jane Foster; two brothers, William Foster and Elijah “Red” Foster; and four sisters, Haroldene Hudson, Clara Rose Cox, Mattye Alderman, and Alice Alderman.
She is survived by four children, Coy Richard Lazenby (Debi) of Petal, Donna Lazenby Atwater (Bob) of Gautier, Sherry Lazenby Mulling (Kurt) of Petal, and Mark Lazenby (April) of Petal; eight grandchildren, Kayla Cagle (Bryan), Caleb Lazenby, Catherine Sanford (Roy), Anna Colette Powell (Luke), Katie Neese (Johnathan), Rachel Mulling, Jacob Lazenby, and Madi Lazenby; six great grandchildren, Kate, Sarah, Trey, Cortney, Peyton, and Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
