Cheryl Ann Brando was born on Friday, August 23, 1946. She passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020.
Cheryl was a loving wife, devoted mother, caring grandmother, a devout Christian, and the best of friends. Before her children were born, she worked as a medical assistant at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her natural parents Evelyn and Wilbur Knotts, her adopted parents Ruby and Leroy "Buddy" Mitchell of Murphysboro, IL, and her sister Jacolyn Norris. Cheryl was also preceded in death by her twin children Kent Allen Brando and Kerry Amanda Brando.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 44 years Robert L. Brando, her son Keith L. Brando (Melanie Brando), her daughter Kelly N. Mallett (Jonathan Mallett), her grandchildren Elizabeth D. Mallett, Erique L. Brando, Elixis P. Mallett, Elona P. Mallett, and Isabella L.V. Brando, her brother John E. Knotts (Doris Knotts), as well as nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, December 6, 2020. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
