Helen Fay Martin Bond, age 76, passed away on Friday December 18, 2020, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born on March 13, 1944, in St. Augustine, Florida. Helen enjoyed baking pound cakes for her family and was an excellent quilter.
Helen is Preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Bond; parents, Rufus and Teresa Martin; brother, Donald Martin.
Mrs. Bond is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Wendell Jr.) Patton, Darlene (Harry Jr.) Graham, Susan (Dwayne) Ellis; sons, Royce (Julia) Bond, Ben (Shasity) Bond; brothers, Vaughn (Cindy) Martin, Dudley Martin, James “Kooter” Martin; sister, Mavis (Kenny) Hunt; grandchildren, Justin (Erin) Patton, Trent (Emilee) Patton, Garrett (Hannah) Patton, Rebekah (Chris) Burkes, Esther Graham, Aaron Graham, Cory (Katy) Ellis, DeAnna Ellis, Darla Ellis, Debra Ellis, Colby Ellis, Bailey (Sarah) Bond, Austin (Marla) Bond, Lilyann Bond, Sara Bond and Chase Bond. Helen is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday December 21, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday December 22, 2020, at Moore Funeral Services. Graveside services will follow at Hickman Bond Cemetery.
