Dorothy Annelle Pearson, 88, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born Friday, June 5, 1931, in Laurel, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Tuckers Crossing Baptist Church in Laurel, MS. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Tuckers Crossing Baptist Church and the Burial will follow in Tuckers Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Eddie Bryant will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of Tuckers Crossing Baptist Church and loved her church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Todd Pearson, parents, Robert Riley and Elma Ruth Tucker, sisters, Edna Ruth Harrison, Caroline Wood, brother, Robert P.Tucker.
Survivors include her daughter, Annelle Bishop (Mark E.), grandson, Mark Todd Bishop (Leigh Anne), great-grandchildren, Mason Zander Bishop and Sarah Elizabeth Bishop, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Laverne Tucker, Don Tucker, Preston Tucker and members of Tuckers Crossing Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Asbury Hospice House 40th Avenue in Hattiesburg, MS.
