Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020, for Mrs. Ruth J. Jones, age 86, of Ellisville, at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton. Mrs. Jones passed away to her heavenly home on February 17, 2020, at her residence. Bro. Tracey Hipps will officiate with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. "Tommy" Jones; daughter, Susan Jones Barnett; parents, L.V. and Lottie Jennings; brother, Leslie "Bo" Jennings.
She is survived by her daughter, Nina (Norman) Smith of Ellisville; grandchildren, Jennifer Mills, Joel Smith, Tommy Barnett, Jon Barnett; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Jones was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellisville.
Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Jones and Son Funeral Home.
